Chicago Blackhawks: Spotlight on Alexandre Fortin

cheap blackhawks jersey

The attacker was passed over not once, but twice, consecutively in the NHL draft. Despite unnoticed however, Fortin has put more effort into his game and it clearly paid in Chicago. Consistency and the puck are always priorities for the Hawks, and Fortin has proven that it is capable of both. He also played a strong game at training camp 2016 Festival, where it won support and had great offensive qualities to his playing style.

Having Fortin on the team could be an important asset for the Blackhawks. They were in search of cheap players after salary cap issues forced them to exchange familiar faces. Signing a young player like Fortin at a low cost wage would give him the chance to play for a top team, while giving the Blackhawks some flair to add to the list, and room to breathe.

Fortin could also help open a future talent for Chicago. As key members of the team, as Marian Hossa, age, the seat will definitely be looking for younger members of the team to move forward. Artemi Panarin is a key example of expanding Hawks this season. Not only did he win the Calder Trophy in 2016, but he, Patrick Kane, and Artem Anisimov was probably the best line that the Hawks had all season. If Fortin could bring this type of talent to the team, it would be a major advantage for both parties.

Fortin most likely will not join the Cheap Blackhawks Jersey this season, and instead of continuing to grow in the League Quebec Major Junior Hockey League (QMJHL). For the last two season, Fortin is a member of the Rouyn-Noranda Huskies and scored a total of thirty and fifty-three goals and assists. In the 2015-16 season, he helped the Huskies to win the Cup for their first president, the annual award for the playoff champions of the QMJHL. The team also played in the Memorial Cup tournament in 2016, but they eventually lost to the London Knights in the championship final.

The Blackhawks are no strangers to find spent on players and bring out the best of their talents. Former Hawks center Andrew Shaw was taken only after being passed under two projects, as Fortin. Despite not being a sought after player, as Kane and Jonathan Toews, Shaw turned his hard work solid game for the Hawks and ended up winning two Stanley Cups before being traded to the Montreal Canadiens.

Fortin has a chance to make a big impact with the Blackhawks, but he will have to really impress to crack the list. It has already been praised by the coaching staff, including assistant coach Kevin Dineen who loved his willingness to learn. Despite being young, his age could be an advantage and the Blackhawks should definitely keep in consideration for potential seasons. He showed them what he can do in their camp. Now it's just a matter of showing them what he can do against the big teams.
